Spanish scientists at the Estación Experimental del Zaidín, in Granada, have developed a method to genetically identify the variety of olives trees through their pollen.
Spanish scientists at the Estación Experimental del Zaidín, in Granada, have developed a method to genetically identify the variety of olives trees through their pollen. It can be applied in cases where tissues from the trees are not available, therefore it is necessary to identify the tree variety through pollen or residual DNA.
