Digital platform for fashion shopping

Pure Inspiration, a spin-off of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of the CSIC (IIIA-CSIC), has developed  WWWOWWW, a new cloth-shopping web app that gives suggestions and helps consumers in on-line shopping.

WWWOWWW is a social platform for fashion shopping that offers an easy and personalized user experience. It has been created by the entrepreneur Carlos Mas and the scientists from the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC) Angela Fàbregues, Carles Sierra and Oriol Tristan.

"In the digital universe, there are thousands of trademarks and companies, all of them competing and searching for new channels to attract customers. Because each company has its own website and app, users are overwhelmed by offers. We think on-line shopping experience should be changed, bringing together all the trademarks into a single platform”, says Carlos Mas, manager of the company.

The application, which is available for iOS, Android and PC, allows users to find out, organize and share their style. Users can create a personal profile to follow trademarks and other people in order to receive suggestions based on these preferences. Also, users can publish their favourite looks, clothing combinations of different trademarks and buy cloths, adding in this way new content to WWWOWWW.

The company is also working to develop a solidarity on-line shopping app

The platform will share with users 50% of the benefits generated by sales derived from their looks. “Is a way to recognise the user’s styles and their contribution to the platform contents”, says Carlos Mas.

Nowadays, Pure Inspiraton has opened a round investment of 500.000 Euros to integrate shopping within the App. The ultimate goal is to create a shopping platform with most of the on-line shops integrated in it. Then, the user will have no need to leave the app to buy any product.

Also, they are working in a solidarity on-line shopping app, to sell products in cooperation with NGO’s and influencers. In this case, 20% of the benefits of the sales will go to solidarity actions.
