The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Fundación General CSIC have launched the program ComFuturo, which supposes an alliance between the CSIC and the companies.
Funded by companies, ComFuture will offer the young scientists the possibility of working for three years in any of the CSIC centres. The scientists will be selected through a rigorous assessment process.
The companies will fund every contract with up to 150.000 € which will cover the three years. Of them, the biggest part (72%) will be for the salary, and the rest will cover other expenses associated. The first call for applications could be open on May 2014.
